About

Hello, I’m Beejal

I am passionate about empowering the next generation of leaders to shape a sustainable and thriving future. My mission is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications, inspiring students to become active problem solvers and environmental stewards.

I have an MSc in Environmental Science from the Centre for Alternative Technology. I am a trained Forest School practitioner and was a volunteer leader for Woodcraft Folk for several years, running camps and after-school clubs.

At the International Schools Partnership, I developed a suite of international opportunities for 60 schools in 16 countries, including a cutting-edge citizen science programme, a student-led environmental initiative, a maths challenge with over 15’000 students participating, and a charity partnership.

At the British Science Association, I led the Youth Grand Challenges competition, redeveloped the entire suite of CREST Star resources, and oversaw the expansion of the CREST Awards scheme.

At the Greater London Authority, I led education policy and research programmes around teachers recruitment and retention, including Teach London and Getting Ahead London.

Through my consulting services, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of stakeholders, from schools and non-profits seeking innovative teaching resources to private companies aiming to enhance their institution’s STEM offerings.
